Day 4...Chest & Shoulders

It is the four and final day which means it will be our split from tuesdays workout! We will once again be hitting the chest and shoulders just different parts of the muscles! This is two major muscles and so if you are trying to build your chest and shoulders be sure to get some carbohydrates in before your workout! We will be hitting middle chest, which means we will be maxing out on our flat bench press!!! We always want to finish our weeks hard and walk out of the stupid feeling like we took a giant leap forward over the week and setting new goals for the upcoming week(s)!!!

Day 2...Lower body & Abs!

This workout is going to be extremely demanding be sure to load up on your carbohydrates!! We need to up the intensity of our workouts!! If you are going to be there at least act like you want to be there, nothing worse then seeing people yawning after a set, are you kidding me? and the benches are made for lifting not sleeping on!!! That just means you didn't properly prepare yourself for you workout, which means you might as well have stayed in bed. If you can not come with a positive attitude and give it your best, please do not come at all! I would say about 95% of my people come in and bust their asses while that other 5% continue to drag the energy of class down, so please check yourself and if you are one of those people please change your attitude! On a positive note we will be doing some different things tomorrow so be ready for a crazy lower body workout!!!

Day 3...Arms & Abs

We will be hitting biceps, triceps, and abs tomorrow as well as finishing with some boxing!!! Do not make the mistake of thinking this is a rest day just because we are not doing bench press, squats, dead lifts, or some other major lift. Having strong biceps and triceps can help take those major muscle lifts to a new level, so do not cheat them, take every set to failure, and focus on your form! Just remember, every rep counts!

Day 2...Back/Legs

Its the best day we have in RIPPED, back and legs!!! If you need to tone up your legs or build some muscle on them chicken legs today is the day to hit the high end of your carbs because these two major muscles demand the most from your body, so if you want to last the full hour and get the best out of your hour you better load up!!! Also a reminder that if you only have 10 min. of cardio at the end you better be giving it your all. I don't understand how you can have 10 seconds left in class and you just jump off the treadmill??? One of the most important factors in becoming fit and looking fit is having mental toughness so that you can set high goals and overcome them!!!

Day 3...Chest & Biceps

Hey RIPPED clients, we will be having a little push/pull battle tomorrow with chest and biceps! Usually we would hit only push moves together and pull moves together but tomorrow we are going to switch it up and keep your body guessing by hitting push(chest) and pull(biceps)! We will be maxing out your flat bench press tomorrow and hopefully seeing some awesome gains like we did on your dead lifts! I can def. tell who has been putting effort into their diets and I think it is awesome! Remember fuel your body with complex carbohydrates one hour before your workout so you can kick ass in here!!!

Day 2...Shoulders & Triceps

Hey RIPPED clients, today we will be hitting some push moves with shoulders and triceps. This is a very important day for toning up your arms! Just remember, if you don't go to failure, you will be a failure ;)! What I am trying to say is that if your not pushing yourself as hard as you can on every single rep in every single set you are cheating yourself. The last few reps in each set are the only repsh that count and cause your body to change, so if your not even getting to those reps because "it hurts," then you are only failing yourself! Lets get some weight up over our heads, feel some pain, embrance it, and make some progress!!!

Day 3...Back & Legs!!!

This is personally my favorite day!  The combination of legs and back (two biggest muscle groups in the body) will leave you feeling like you just workout out every muscle in your body. Also remember that legs and back will demand the most from your body so make sure to be on the higher end of your calories/carbs/fats for the day...We will be finding your max on squats and dead lifts tomorrow for a 6-8 rep count ,so bring some intensity tomorrow and lets set some high marks!

"I am sore"...The positive or negative to being sore!

I have a lot of clients who complain I am sore blah, blah, and blah. Well...I personally think you should either get your diet/supplementation right or suck it the fuck up and quit crying because I DO NOT CARE! If it is your diet then that is your own fault because I have put myself out there and tried to help every one of you! You are in there killing yourself with weights for absolutely no reason if you are not dieting/supplementing right! Now, if it is because you pushed your muscles to failure and absolutely took your body to another level, well then, be proud of that and think of it as a positive thing! Do not go take ibuprofen or Tylenol to try and ease the pain, embrace that shit!!!...I personally love feeling the pain a day or two after a grueling workout because I know my diet is right on and I am giving my body everything it needs. When that soreness finally goes away and my muscle repairs, I am going to look in the mirror and be happy with the changes I worked so hard for!! I don't mean to sound cliche but pain is nothing but WEAKNESS and SELF-PITY leaving your body and making you an overall stronger person, that is if you have that mentality. I will be doing a video blog later this evening about muscle soreness and how to avoid it as much as possible! I look at the body as a never ending challenge, there is always a way to improve it, whether it be internal or external. So, when you are sore just think of it in that way and know you have overcome another step and taken one more step away from being average!!! PAIN...EMBRACE IT & OVERCOME IT!!!

Hey RIPPED clients, saw that some of you have been working hard and making progress on your diets and seeing awesome results in just days!!! Tonight a client looked at me with a confused face and said, "It seems when I eat these clean foods, the more I eat the more weight I lose!" I am telling you to eat more then you already do and you can lose weight and gain muscle...SO DO IT! Tonight/Tomorrow we will be hitting shoulders/triceps, so if thats your weak point make sure you throw in an extra scoop of carbs before and after your workout!!!

Be ready to drop set! We are going to do Legs and Abs like we have never done them before!!! Going heavy as we can, failing out, and then dropping until we get to 20 repetitions! Working your legs hurts so bad but just remember the more pain the more gain!!! Having a strong set of legs and strong core will lead to your overall body appearing stronger and more fit!

Cardio Week!!! Day 1...Chest/Abdominals & Treadmills!!!

Hey RiPPEd clients, once again the long awaited cardio week is here!!! Day 1 we will be doing all sorts of chest exercises using only our own body weight, an extremely fast pace ab workout, and will be super setting both with treadmill sprints and body weight fat-burners! Remember this week is about taking your body to its limit so that we can increase both your muscular and cardiovascular endurance. Be sure to not mess up on your pre/post workout, you have worked too hard for your lean muscle do not go and burn it off...we are trying to burn fat this week NOT muscle! Make sure you keep to your diet and get your rest this week, its going to be a crazy one!

Day 4...Back/Shoulders & Boxing

Hey RiPPEd clients, the last day has come of high rep week!! I know you are happy to see it but you are also gonna be happy to see the results setting in if you just keep your diet right this weekend. Day 4 we are going to once again put back/shoulders together with boxing to completely carve out your back and shoulder muscles! Not only is it a demanding workout working two major muscles but it is a crazy fat burner, so lets go 100mph, feel the burn, and see some results! Day 4 means we go out with bang...do not want to go into your weekend feeling like shit about how you finished off your week!

Day 3...Legs, Abs, & Plyometrics!!!

Hey RiPPEd clients, awesome class last night you guys really killed it! Today we are hitting legs and abs with a mixture of heavy leg lifts, plyometrics, and heavy abs, all at a non-stop fast pace. Every workout will be timed to ensure we do not stop for an hour straight! Be ready to hit all 25 workouts back to back to back!!

Way to go RiPPEd clients! I know today was extremely hard because you were all having a crash from all the Easter brunch sugar! You still showed up and worked really hard and that's what counts! I can promise you that you will have more energy tomorrow so bring it and lets have a good one! We will be having another bicep/tricep war, justthis time it will be doing double the reps in each set!  This week is your week to take a step forward and increase your muscle endurance and really tone up the muscle you have built! You have got to have those arms ready for summer! Make sure you are back on your diet and not giving into the sugar cravings you are having from brunch!

Nothing like having your biceps and triceps battle it out for an hour, one pushing, one pulling, such a good pain! Just got done with the 730 pm class and they said it was the hardest leg workout yet! Be ready to fail out your legs and twist up your core, we will be targeting every leg and core muscle and taking it to absolute failure! Day 2...Back, Shoulders, & Boxing!!!

Hey RiPPEd clients, we are going to do things a little different this week. I am challenging you to completely burn out two major muscles in this one back/shoulder failing workout! We will alternate back and forth between the two muscles with each set consisting of a heavy lift, fat-burning move, and boxing cardio! I usually split these two muscle groups up because they are so challenging, so except the challenge and come tonight/tomorrow and kill this killer workout! Working double major muscle groups is the number one way to effectively build muscle and burn fat all at the same time! Just remember to fail out in each and every set...burn=change, so when you feel that burn be sure to slam out a few more reps until you literally can not push or pull the weight up or down anymore!

Day 4...Legs, Abdominals, & Plyo!!!

Hey RiPPEd Clients, here comes your favorite day, I know it is :)! We are going to hit the legs heavy, drop the weight, and quickly superset with abs and plyo-metrics to work the core and legs! It is going to burn but just remember that burn and pain is change happening, it is you pushing yourself to your limitations, it is you striving to take it to the next level and change your body, and when you reach absolute failure you have taken your muscles and body to a whole new level...DO NOT continue to do the same amount of weight at the same amount of reps week after week! Every day you walk into the stretch studio you have a chance to better yourself physically by changing your body and mentally by improving your energy and confidence, so lets make it happen!

Hey RiPPEd Clients, the day you have all been waiting for is here :). It is time lift that weight up over your head and hit the most noticeable muscle on your body! Summer is coming and the sleeves will be off so DO NOT cheat this workout! We are gonna compliment your shoulder lifts with tricep shredding moves and the incline treadmill. Be ready for some pike press! Be sure to get your 24 or 16 grams of whey protein 30 min prior to workout, and if you so choose your pre-workout formula 15 min. before!

Day 2...Back/Biceps & Boxing!!

Hey RiPPEd clients, we will be lifting back/biceps with supersets! Heavy and slow, to fast and light, to crazy boxing cardio! Like I said just because its weights week does not mean we go at a slow tempo, we need to go at an even faster tempo! Last but certainly not least, we will finish our workout with lower back exercises to help fully develop our core. People are constantly working their frontal abdominals, well what about your lower back? It is just as important!

Day 4...Cardiovascular Endurance!

Hey RiPPEd clients, it is the end of cardio week and you know we always go out with a bang, and we are going  to do just that tomorrow! Time to introduce you to the downtown parking ramp, but don't worry we will get you all warmed up with some boxing and treadmill circuits! Tomorrow will tell you a little something about yourself and prove to me and more importantly you how bad you want to reach your physical fitness goals. If you think sprinting at a twelve incline on the treadmill is hard, just wait till you do it with out the treadmill belt moving your feet! You can either give a half ass effort or look at this as a new challenge and show up tomorrow and give it everything you got and kick the ramp's ass! I know you can physically we will see if you can get past the mental aspect of it! Do not worry I will be sure to let you know if you passed or failed! Please don't make me have to be rude! See you bright and early...I am going to have you saying, "THANK GOD ITS FRIDAY".

Day 3...Core & Legs!

I was late on this blog and I apologize, but all six of my RiPPEd classes did awesome! Everyone gave their best effort and I am sure you are all feeling like someone punched you in the stomach right about now! If not you need to let me know so I can explain to you how to better engage your abs! You can count on there being a whole lot more core involved in RiPPEd! We can strengthen and tone but remember core is gonna come down to DIET, DIET, and DIET!

Hey RiPPEd clients today I am going to test your body in every way possible! Everything we do will require you to push yourself, boxing, bodyweight fat-burners, and non-treadmill timed sprints! I am going to make you exert every last bit of energy you have! The night classes started it off right and took it to absolute failure. They gave 100% effort all the way up to the last second of class! I could see they had physically burnt themselves into the ground, and that is what we are all about at RiPPEd! I guess what I am trying to say is morning classes better be ready to work because the standard has been set! See you bright and early!

Cardio Week!!! Day 1...Treadmills & Fatburner (Chest/Shoulders/Triceps)

Hey RiPPEd Clients its finally here! Time to take your cardio to a whole new level and use your very own body weight to sculpt all that lean muscle you have built in the past three weeks! Have your water bottles by your side because we will not stop moving for an hour straight, our sprints will be fast, our fat-burners more explosive then ever, and our water breaks will be short! We are going go go go people so be ready and get your carbohydrates in a half hour before class!!! We don't want to be cardio junkies who can not do a single push up ,and we certainly don't want to be meat heads who can not do a sprint without falling over. As RiPPEd Clients we strive to do it all and at a extremely high level!!!

Need to build up your muscular endurance so you can last through all your sets in weeks 1 & 2 with a heavier weight. The result will be an increase in muscle mass and a decrease in body fat % which is our ultimate goal!
